“…На даний момент має бути зрозуміло: для Трампа Україна не є партнером — це перешкода. Перешкодою для поліпшення відносин з Росією (тааарговля!!!). Якщо Україна не капітулює, США просто підуть — і звинуватять Україну у провалі переговорів.”

Unfortunately, after Trump’s conversation with Putin, I’m increasingly pissemistic about any “peace deal” between russia and Ukraine.
By now, it should be clear: for Trump, Ukraine is not a partner — it’s an obstacle. An obstacle to a better relationship with russia. If Ukraine won’t capitulate, the U.S. will simply walk away — and blame Zelensky for the failure of negotiations.
And this isn’t speculation. The U.S. administration has been preparing the ground for weeks:
• Last month, Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned that without visible progress, the U.S. would withdraw from the peace process.
• Two weeks ago, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff echoed that message.
• And just yesterday, Trump made it clear again: if things don’t move forward, he’ll “walk away” from efforts to end russia’s war against Ukraine.
Meanwhile, some “experts” still claim a peace deal is close. But I don’t see how.
Putin cannot afford to stop this war — not politically, not economically. His regime depends on conquest.
And Ukrainians? They will not surrender. They will not legitimize annexation. They will not bow to imperialism.
