Russians plan to hold a propaganda march in the heart of Washington.
The event, marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, is scheduled for May 3. Organizers have already received a permit from local authorities.
The march will feature an orchestra, Soviet war songs, and portraits of so-called “heroes” — as participants parade through downtown Washington and hold a concert near the World War II Memorial.
This will be the first “Immortal Regiment” propaganda march in D.C. since russia launched its full-scale war of aggression against Ukraine.
Let that sink in: while russia is murdering civilians, bombing cities, and trying to erase Ukrainian identity, they’ll be celebrating their militarism just steps away from the U.S. Capitol.
